Sarah Fortin Espigares
Sarah Espigares moved to Europe in 2005. She grew up and studied music for 18 years in Canada, starting her studies of the cello at the age of three. Sarah has studied under several prominent teachers over the years including John Kadz, Amanda Forsyth, Yuri Gindin, Roman Borys and Tom Wiebe. She has played for and performed with many guests artists such as Zara Nelsova, Moshe Hammer, Gwen Hoebig and Laurence Lesser and has been under the orchestral conduction of master conductors such as Mstislav Rostropovich, Bramwell Tovey and Simon Streatfield.
Sarah is currently taking a break from playing, but now enjoys contributing to the local music community here in Gibraltar and will be looking forward to teaching and performing later on in 2009.
