The concert will feature Mrs Elina Garanca (Vienna State Opera), Mr Ferdinand von Bothmer (Vienna Volksoper), Mr Adrian Erod (Vienna State Opera) and KS Alfred Sramek (Vienna State Opera) in the leading roles and will be supported by Krisjanis Norvelis (Vienna State Opera), Monica Theiss-Erod (Vienna State Opera) and Janis Misins (Latvian National Opera). The European Sinfonietta will be conducted by Karel Mark Chichon.

A society spokesman said; “We would like to thank Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch for their support in making this production possible. This is a VERY big occasion for Gibraltar as a whole. Our Society is immensely proud, in fact Gibraltar as a whole should be, to be able to have soloists of this calibre. Just to give you an idea of the stature of these soloists and the event in question, our Society has already receiving bookings for tickets from as far a field as Zurich…... need I say more.”

Tickets priced at fifty pounds each are now available from The House of Sacarello in Irish Town and Solomon Levy Estate Agents in Convent Place. Credit/debit card purchase is also available by phoning the Society on 72134. A limited number of tickets are also available to Senior Citizens at a reduced price via The John Mackintosh Hall at 308 Main Street.
