Unforgettable piano recital with Ingrid Fliter
The Gibraltar Philharmonic Society, in association with Hassans International Law Firm, have the great privilege of presenting one of the leading pianists of our times, pianist Ingrid Fliter, for a recital at the Convent Ballroom on 16th February 2009 commencing at 8:30pm.
"We are very fortunate to be able to have Ingrid Fliter return to Gibraltar after a fantastic and sold-out concert back in 2007. Her temperament and intelligence, combined with her passion and charisma signals Ingrid out of many other fine pianists. In the age where exclusive recording artists are few and far between, Ms Fliter became an exclusive EMI recording artist and released her first CD in April 2008 with an all-Chopin programme which has received critical acclaim throughout the world. Gibraltarian audiences have always admired pianists - there is no doubt in my mind this is one of the world's leading pianists and I am sure those who have already heard Ingrid will agree with me. I do not know for how long we will be able to lure Ms Fliter back to perform for us but it is a true honour and privilege to have her perform for us again." commented Artistic Director Karel Mark Chichon.
Tickets priced at 20 pounds each are now available from The House of Sacarello in Irish Town and The Silver Shop at 275 Main Street. Credit/debit card purchase is also available by phoning the Society on 20072134. A limited number of tickets are also available to Senior Citizens at a reduced price via The John Mackintosh Hall at 308 Main Street.
