The Isai State Philharmonic Orchestra of Romania traces its origins to the end of the 19th Century with a rich repertoire of works by Mozart, Beethoven and Wagner, among others. Today, the homogeneity, versatility and enthusiasm of the musicians of the Philharmonic of Isai are qualities that are highly respected and have enhanced the orchestra’s prestige around the world. Its most famous conductor was George Enescu.

The Coral Santa Maria de la Victoria was founded in 1969 by their current director, Manuel Gámez López, and is sponsored by the City council and the Provincial Delegation of Málaga. It has worked in all the Andalusian capitals, in the main cities of the rest of Spain as well as abroad (France, Switzerland, Austria and Belgium where it represented Andalusia in Europalia 85).

The chorus has a wide repertoire of religious and secular music both a capella and with orchestra, having sung works of the great composers Handel, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Rossini, Verdi, Gounod, Bruckner, Fauré, and operas by Mozart, Donizetti, Bizet, Verdi and Puccini, as well as numerous operettas.
