Nathan Payas at the Cave
The Gibraltar Philharmonic Society presents the ever popular annual National Week Concert arranged on behalf of the Government of Gibraltar at St Michael's Cave commencing at 9:00pm on Sunday the 2nd of September.
The concert will feature local tenor Mr Nathan Payas singing various arias by Donizetti and Verdi. The second half of the concert will feature orchestral arrangements of South American music (tangos, comparsas, etc) with Mr Raimonds Macats (mouth harmonica). The South London Philharmonic Orchestra will be conducted by Gibraltarian Karel Mark Chichon.
A society spokesman said; “we are very pleased to be able to bring two of our audience’s most popular performers in Nathan and Karel in what will be a very exciting and varied performance.”
Tickets priced at 14 pounds each are now available from The House of Sacarello in Irish Town and Solomon Levy Estate Agents in Convent Place. Credit/debit card purchase is also available by phoning the Society on 72134. A limited number of tickets are also available to Senior Citizens at a reduced price via The John Mackintosh Hall at 308 Main Street.
The price includes a return shuttle service departing from Ince’s Hall from 8.00 pm.
