Barbara Doll Returns to Gibraltar Violinist visits The Rock for a fourth time in as many years in Association with The Bland Group
Furthering it’s jam packed calendar, The Gibraltar Philharmonic Society continues it’s 2007-08 season with a concert on 15th April 2008 at The Convent Ballroom commencing at 8:30pm. The concert will feature the ever popular violinist Barbara Doll and piano accompanist Cristina Marton.
The concert in association with The Bland Group will feature works by Schubert, Janacek and Brahms.
The Society’s Artistic Director commented “Ms Doll has proved so popular the last three seasons that our Society and The Bland Group decided to join forces and offer her a fourth performance in as many years. Ms Doll is no stranger to Gibraltar and her popularity is certainly not waning; which speaks volumes of her quality and artistry”.
Tickets priced at 20 pounds each are available from The House of Sacarello in Irish Town and The Silver Shop at 275 Main Street. Credit/debit card purchase is also available by phoning the Society on +350 (200) 72134. A limited number of tickets are also available to Senior Citizens at a reduced price via The John Mackintosh Hall at 308 Main Street.
